Refund policy
(Policy updated and applicable from 8th August 2024)
Critical: The trainings in partnership with IITs are not eligible for a refund
Steps to apply for the refund.
- We suggest you read all the points given on this page before you apply for a refund.
- Visit https://cloud.boltiot.com/training
- Login with the same email ID you used to register for the training.
- You will find your training listed there.
- If you paid for the order via cash on delivery, please keep your Bank account details such as the IFSC code and Account number ready for the next step.
- Click on the refund button next to your training.
- The web page will then give you the required steps for getting the refund, depending on the training that you purchased.
- For training that requires a kit, you will be told to enter a date on which the kit can be picked up from you.
Special steps for cash on delivery orders.
- Once you click on the refund button, you will be asked for the IFSC code and Account number to which we can transfer the refund.
- After you upload these details, a small amount of money somewhere between 1 and 2 INR will be transferred to your account. You will need to look at your bank account statement after raising the refund request, to see this amount.
- Once this amount is credited to your account, you have to go to https://cloud.boltiot.com/training, click on the refund button again, and enter this amount into the page.
- Entering this amount on the web page will verify your account details with us and will also confirm that transferring the rest of the amount to this bank account will not have issues.
- Your full refund will be transferred to you only after we receive the kit, and you confirm your bank account details using the above steps.
Details about the refund policy
We offer a 'no questions asked' refund of your full payment for the first 10 days since the date of payment for training that does not include a kit and 10 days from the delivery of the kit for training that includes a kit. If you join the training and you do not like it, then follow the simple process below to get the full amount you have paid refunded.
Our refund policies are specific for each training. This refund policy applies to the following trainings. Please drop us an email at support@boltiot.com if you don't find your training here.
- Online training on IoT and ML. (Includes a kit)
- Advanced IoT and ML training.
- Voice apps online training.
- Web development training on HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Augmented Reality training.
- Online training on Robotics. (Includes a kit)
- Python programming training
- AI (Artificial Intelligence) training (Provided by Bolt IoT only and with no live classes)
Following trainings are NOT eligible for refund
- AI (Artificial Intelligence) training from IIT Kanpur
- Any training that is offered in a partnership with an IIT or a third party organisation.
Terms and conditions
- If 10 days have gone by since payment for training that does not include a kit or from the delivery of the kit for training that includes a kit then, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund.
- If your kit is damaged due to any of the actions of the user, then we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
- To be eligible for a return, all the items of your kit must be shipped back in the original packaging.
- If you have received a certificate for the course or an internship through the course, you are no longer eligible for the refund.
- If you have requestet us to issue any certificate such as an offer letter for the internship then no refund will be possible after such certificate is issued.
- If the training includes a kit, we will have the kit picked up from you, and you will receive the refund within 12 working days of kit pickup. This time includes the time required by the courier person to deliver the kit back to us, and also for us to check whether the kit is in proper condition. It generally takes us 4 working days to confirm that the kit is in proper working condition.
- If your training includes a kit, and you raise a refund after the kit is shipped, you will have to wait for the kit to arrive at your location before you can raise a refund. Please write to support@boltiot.com in such a case to make sure you can raise a refund once the kit arrives.
- If you paid via Cash on Delivery, you will have to provide Bank account details such as account number and IFSC code, so that we can transfer the refund to you.
- If payment was done via online methods the refund amount will be transferred back to the original method of payment i.e to your bank account or credit/debit card. Note: No amount is deducted at the time of refund. We shall bear the full cost of shipping during the refund process.
In case of any issue while raising the refund
- Take a screenshot of the issue that you are facing.
- Write an email to support@boltiot.com with the subject line "Issue in raising refund request", and explain in detail the issue you are facing in the email body. Make sure to attach the screenshots while sending this email.
